PV Modules & Accessories

PV Modules are the power source for your solar water pumping system. LORENTZ systems are very flexible allowing a wide range of PV Module types and sizes to be utilized.

To complete your system we offer a wide range of compatible probes, sensors, solar power connection equipment, racking, and PV modules. This enables a single source of tested, ready to integrate components to give you a complete solution.

Accessories

  • PowerPacks

    AC PowerPack allows the pump to be powered by an AC generator or commercial utility power. The solar array remains connected. If the sun comes out again, less power is drawn from the AC source. Without the need for manual switching, PowerPack will power the pump to its full capacity

  • PS Boost Installation Kit

    Puranova Tech offers a wide range of solar water pumping ancillaries and accessories including PV disconnect devices for solar array safety, well probes for dry-run protection, splice kits for connecting submersible cables, float switches for indicating full storage tank status, pressure sensors for remote tank switch off, external antennas for our PS Communicator modules in areas with weak GSM signal, inline filter for PS Boost pumps, connecting boxes for parallel wiring, water flow-meters, surge protection devices for PV systems

  • PV Combiner

    Puranova Supplies connection boxes and combiners for parallel wiring. Wiring for up to 4 input-strings in parallel combine two or more PV Disconnect 1000-40-5 units, enclosure class IP 54 Meets the requirements for CE, Max Voltage 1000 V DC 

  • PV Disconnect Series

    Puranova Supplies Boxes with DC Disconnect Switches and optional lighting surge protection. Simple and cost-effective unit to connect up to five module strings, includes an appropriate DC rated disconnect switch. Designed for PSk2 pump systems and used as part of a professional system installation

  • Flowmeter

    Dry dial register ensures clear reading, low-pressure loss, long working life, and easy to install. Only for use in combination with Data Module: The water meter is equipped with a reed switch assembly which can be connected to the Data Module

  • PS Boost Inline Filter

    PS BOOST Pump Systems are designed for clean water conditions. A PS BOOST Inline Filter must be installed in the suction pipeline to protect the pump from sand, clay, or other solids. Simple to install with included wall holder kit, clear bowl for easy maintenance, additional spare filter cartridges can be ordered

  •  Surge Protector

    Device to Protect LORENTZ Pump Accessories from Voltage Spikes. Reliable surge protection for all LORENTZ pump accessories, and can be installed inside the PS2 controller; Max voltage: 14VDC, Max current 8/20µs: 500 A

  • External Antenna for PS Communicator

    External antenna for the PS Communicator for areas with weak GSM signal. Only in use with the PS Communicator, accurate alignment of the antenna with the Pump Scanner software. Frequency range: 824-960 / 1710-2170 Mhz

  • PV Protect

    Provides an enhanced level of protection to the PSk2 controller from electrical surges (indirect lightning), designed for PSk2 pump systems and used as part of a professional system installation. Installed on the DC input line close to the pump controller requires a reliable ground connection to operate

  • Float Switch

    Mechanically Activated Device for Water Level Detection in Applications with LORENTZ Solar Pump Systems The switch can be used to detect the water level within a tank. When the water level in the tank reaches the maximum, the  LORENTZ Controller will stop the pump and indicates Tank Full LED

  • Well Probe

    Mechanically Activated Device for Dry Run protection in Applications with LORENTZ Solar Pump Systems. The switch can be used to detect the water level within a well. When the water level in the well dropped below the level of the well probe, the LORENTZ Controller will stop the pump and indicates Source Low LED

  • Liquid Level Sensor

    The range of liquid level sensors uses pressure to measure the liquid level in a well or tank. The sensors can be used for the collection of long term liquid level monitoring and also for pump control in applications where a well probe cannot be used. The liquid level sensor must be used with a compatible LORENTZ Controller. Gauge pressure sensor, pressure measurement relative to the atmosphere; for measuring levels of liquid in a well or tank. Accurate, robust sensor, for use with LORENTZ Pump Scanner and pump manager

  • Liquid Pressure Sensor

    The sensors are commonly used to measure the pressure in the delivery pipeline or in a vessel. The pressure signal is used with a suitable LORENTZ pump controller to measure pressure and for pressure switching or constant pressure applications. Gauge pressure sensor, pressure measurement relative to the atmosphere for measuring pressure in a pipe or vessel. Accurate, robust sensor, for use with LORENTZ Pump-scanner and pump-manager

  • Pressure Switch

    Device for Dry Run Protection in Applications with LORENTZ Solar Surface Pump Systems. The device can be used to detect the water level in the suction side of the pipeline. When the two electrodes run dry, the LORENTZ Controller will stop the pump and indicates Source Low LED

  • Cable Splicing Kits

    Kit for Permanently Insulate and Seal Cable Splice, Efficient watertight seal, simple to install, high-quality components, a kit for wire sizes from 2.5 to 10 mm²

  • Stilling Tube

    Where water sources contain sand or have the potential for dirt falling into them (uncapped wells) a stilling tube is recommended to protect the pump from the dirt. Due to the large inner diameter of the stilling tube the water rises very slow, the dirt settles down at the bottom of the well, pump has to handle less sand, which will increase, the pump’s life span, trouble-free installation
